For more than 40 years, the Independent Electrical Contractors -IEC- has faced the challenges imposed by the changing world of the electrical and systems industry. IEC has built a reputation as the premier trade association, aggressively working with the industry to establish a successful business environment for "Open Shop" Electrical and Communication Contractors.

The association serves as the voice of the electrical and communication contracting industry on policies affecting its membership. IEC attempts to further the growth of our economy, providing skilled manpower, and promoting the principles of free enterprise.

Associated Builders and Contractors
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national trade association representing more than 23,000 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and related firms in 80 chapters across the United States. ABC’s membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.
